Garments Of Salvation
Traditional Baptismal Garments
Welcome to Baby Baptismal Robes! My baby baptismal robes are 100% percent handmade and crafted with love and prayers. The design is my own, inspired by traditional baptismal gowns, which ultimately look like a sticharion, or server’s robe. It is interesting to note that even our clergy wear a baptismal robe as a fundamental part of their vestments. This robe, which is worn by bishops and priests at the service of the Divine Liturgy and which should always be white, is the "robe of salvation": the white garment in which every Christian is clothed on the day of his or her baptism, symbolizing human nature transformed by Christ in the Kingdom of God
(Rev 7:9ff).
About
Why Robes?
I founded Baby Baptismal Robes with one goal in mind: providing a much needed service for Christian families.  When it was time to baptize my own children, I experienced first hand the difficulty in finding a quality garment that not only fit into my church's traditions, but also was comfortable and safe for my baby. I decided to make my own, and after perfecting my design and offering my skills to others, I am now humbled and blessed by the fact that my little robes have been adorning newly illumined warriors all over the world for almost a decade.
